Jesus WILL Be there to Catch You
Hebrews 12:2 the part im going to focus on when the author says "Let us keep looking to Jesus". When i read that verse the story of Jesus & Peter walking on water in Matthew 14:22-31. Now from the way that i read it from scripture pertaining to detail Jesus must have been a little far off for the apostles to know that that wasnt Jesus, and Jesus came to them and said "be brave it is I", and Peter responded "Lord if it is you tell me to come to you on the water" and then Jesus said to Peter "Come", quick off topic statement really quick but notice that before miraculous things happen God must approve of them so that people will know that it came from the true God, like on the day of Pentecost God had already approve of that because Jesus told them right? okay im done lol. Then Jesus permitted Peter to do the same, and Peter was walking ( i think of how when a baby first learns to walk they are all wobbly and stuff, thats what i am picturing in my head right now) on water, but then something happened Peter saw the wind and was afraid and his focus was no longer upon Jesus but on the storm and how bad it was. So when Peter began to fall into the water and at that every moment he cried out "Lord!! Save me!!" and if you can recall what i said earlier Jesus was a little far off away from the boat, but then scripture didnt say that Jesus ran over there it says v 31 "right away Jesus reached out His hand and caught him and said you of so small faith, why did you doubt me?" I believe that Jesus just miraculously teleported to where Peter was, He didnt walk to Him, but as soon as Peter called out Pow Jesus was there. I believe that the walking on water was amazing but even more amazing is that even though Jesus seemed far off away from him when Peter was walking to Him, as soon as Peter fell he called on the name of the Lord He just shows up, because walking to us would take too long. I dont know what situation you are in right now, but Jesus may seem far off, and you took your eyes off of Him and you are starting to fall, but just know that God is showing up miraculously to catch you!! Hallelujah, Jude 1:24 says it this way "to Him who is able to keep us from falling!!" if you call on the Lord as you know that you are falling or even fallen Jesus will just SHOW UP and already be out reaching out to you and catch you.. Thanks for listening, God bless!!
